The Tailor Shop is located on the northwest corner of 81st & Memorial, in PADDINGTON SQUARE Shopping Center. (Same as 'Fat Daddy's Grill') (SEE MAP BELOW)
Q: What hours are you open?
A: Normal Hours are Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:30pm. Saturdays, Appointments only. Sometimes exceptions can be made for after-hours appointments, so feel free to ask, if you have an extenuating circumstance!

A: Please let us know if you are a US Military Member or a First Responder.
Q: How long will it take for you to finish the clothing that I bring in?
A: Normally, Mai's Custom Tailoring has 2 day service (e.g. Drop off on Monday/Pick up on Wednesday). RUSH Service is usually available for special situations. Prom and Wedding seasons can be an especially harsh time for a Tailor Shop, so we ask our patrons to please attempt to be willing to schedule non-prom and non-wedding items further out in time than the normal 2 day service, if possible, during these times of the year.
Q: Are there any rules that I should know about?
A: Please try on all items before leaving the shop, when picking up your clothing. We want to be sure that everyone is 100% satisfied before they leave us. If something is not perfect, we want to know as soon as possible.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: MasterCard/Visa, Checks (local), and cash. $1 extra charge for credit/debit card payments.
Q: Can you work on stretchy material?
A: Yes, we have the special machine for that.
Q: Can you keep the original hem when hemming up jeans?
A: Yes. And they will not flare out after washing - Guaranteed.
Q: Can you take in the waist of jeans?A: Yes. And they will look the same as they originally looked - Guaranteed (including the large stitches of True Religion jeans).
Q: Can you do ... ?
A: Yes. We can alter virtually everything. Men's suits, wedding dresses, prom dresses, formal clothing, leather, heavy materials, beads, military uniforms, and custom-made clothing such as shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, costumes, curtains, custom pillow cases, etc. (please give 2 - 4 weeks extra time for custom-made articles).
